How do payments work? +
For one-off projects: 50% upfront to begin, 50% on final delivery before handover. We accept bank transfer and card. For retainers: billed monthly on the same date, with card-on-file setup.
How long do projects take? +
Launch packages typically take 2–3 weeks. Growth packages 4–6 weeks. Enterprise timelines are scoped per project during discovery. Timelines begin once we have designs approved and content received — delays in content delivery may affect timelines.
What do you need from me to start? +
A signed quote and your initial payment to kick things off. From there, we'll run a discovery call to align on goals and structure, then request your brand assets, copy, and any reference sites you like. Don't have copy yet? We can help with that as an add-on.
Can I upgrade my package later? +
Absolutely. Many clients start with a Launch package and upgrade to Growth as their business grows. We'll credit any prior investment against the new package scope. For retainers, you can upgrade your plan with 30 days notice.
What platform will my site be built on? +
We build on the platform that suits your needs — Shopify for online stores, professional business websites for tradespeople who want speed and great Google rankings without monthly platform fees, or custom builds for anything more complex. We'll work out what's right for you on your free discovery call.
Do you offer discounts for non-profits? +
Yes — we offer a 15% discount on one-off packages for registered charities and non-profits. Get in touch with your charity registration number and we'll apply this to your quote.
Can I cancel a retainer? +
Yes. All retainers require a minimum 3-month commitment, after which you can cancel with 30 days written notice. Any work in progress at the time of cancellation will be completed and delivered.
Do the prices include Shopify subscription fees? +
No — our prices cover the design and build of your store. Shopify's monthly subscription (from £25/mo for Basic) and any paid apps are separate costs paid directly to Shopify. We'll always flag these before recommending them.
